Brief Bio
Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals and proceedings of international conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Jalel Ben-Othman

Brief Bio
Prof. Ben-Othman received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Computer Science from the University of  Pierre et Marie Curie, (Paris 6) France in 1992, and 1994 respectively. He received his PhD degree from the University of Versailles, France, in 1998. He is currently full professor at the University of Paris 13 since 2011 and member of L2S lab at CentraleSupélec. Dr. Ben-Othman's research interests are in the area of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, VANETs, IoT, performance evaluation and  security in wireless networks in general. He was the recipient of the IEEE COMSOC Communication Software technical comm ittee Recognition Award in 2016, the IEEE computer society Meritorious Service Award in 2016,  and he is a Golden Core Member of IEEE Computer Society, AHSN Exceptional Service and Contribution Award in 2018 and the VEHCOM Fabio Neri award in 2018. He is currently in steering committee of IEEE Transaction on Mobile computing (IEEE TMC), an editorial board member of several journals (IEEE Networks, IEEE COMML, JCN, IJCS, SPY, Sensors…). He has also served as TPC Co-Chair for  IEEE Globecom and ICC conferences and other conferences as   (WCNC, IWCMC, VTC, ComComAp, ICNC, WCSP,  Q2SWinet, P2MNET, WLN,..).  He was the chair of the IEEE Ad Hoc and sensor networks technical committee January 2016-2018, he was previously the vice chair and secretary for this committee. Brief Bio
Sebastiano Battiato is a full professor of Computer Science at the University of Catania. He received his degree in Computer Science (summa cum laude) in 1995 from the University of Catania and his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Naples in 1999. From 1999 to 2003 he was the leader of the “Imaging” team at STMicroelectronics in Catania. He joined the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Catania in 2004 (respectively as assistant professor, associate professor in 2011 and full professor in 2016). He has been Chairman of the Undergraduate Progra m in Computer Science (2012-2017), and Rector's delegate for Education: postgraduates and Phd (2013-2016). He is currently the Scientific Coordinator of the PhD Program in Computer Science at the University of Catania. He is involved in research and directorship of the IPLab research lab (http://iplab.dmi.unict.it). He coordinates IPLab’s participation on large scale projects funded by national and international funding bodies, as well as by private companies. Prof. Battiato has participated as principal investigator in many international and national research projects. His research interests include Computer Vision, Imaging technology and Multimedia Forensics. He has edited 6 books and co-authored about 200 papers in international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters and has also been a guest editor of several special issues published in International Journals. He is also co-inventor of 22 international patents, reviewer for several international journals, and has been a regular member of numerous international conference committees. He has been the Chair of several international events (ICIAP 2017, VINEPA 2016, ACIVS 2015, VAAM2014-2015-2016, VISAPP2012-2015, IWCV2012, ECCV2012, ICIAP 2011, ACM MiFor 2010-2011, SPIE EI Digital Photography 2011-2012-2013, etc.). He is an associate editor of the SPIE Journal of Electronic Imaging and of the IET Image Processing Journal. He is Director (and Co-Founder) of the International Computer Vision Summer School (ICVSS), Sicily, Italy. He is the recipient of the 2017 PAMI Mark Everingham Prize for the series of annual ICVSS schools and of the 2011 Best Associate Editor Award of the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. Brief Bio
Dr Ángel Serrano received a BSc in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) in 1999, an MSc in Information Technology and Computer Systems from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain) in 2009 and a PhD (European Doctorate) in Information Systems Engineering from the same university in 2011. He also has a specialization in Statistical Learning and Data Mining by UNED University (Spain) since 2014. He worked as a teaching assistant at the School of Computer Science of Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 2003 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016 he worked as an associate professor (profesor adjunto) at the Higher Polyt echnic School of Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Spain). Since 2016 he is back again at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where his current position is assistant professor (profesor ayudante doctor). He is a fellow of the Face Recognition and Artificial Vision research group (FRAV). His research topics of interest include computer vision, pattern recognition, face biometrics, among others. Regarding teaching, he is interested in computer architecture, physics for computer science and physics for videogames.
