SCOPE
Automated video surveillance and security systems that make use of video analytics have been gaining the attention of increasing scientific and commercial interest. A particularly interesting as well as challenging topic area is the integration of video surveillance analytics with other sources of security intelligence and information. Interest in such an integration arises from the need to achieve a unified operational view without losing relevance or timeliness of information provisioning. The aim of this MUSESUAN 2014 special session is to connect video analytics research as a prime area of relevant research with other relevant areas. The special session is organised by members of the MOSAIC EU FP7 research project, which is concerned with multimodal surveillance and security analytics.
Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Representation of multimodal surveillance and security analytics
