Brief Bio
Simone Santini received his B.Sc. from the University of Florence, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer science from the University of California, San Diego. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan and at the IBM Almaden Research Lab. From 1999 to 2001 he was software architect at Praja, Inc. a start-up of the first dot-com boom. From 2001 to 2005 he was a researcher and lecturer at UCSD. Since 2005 he is a professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
